La Colombe at Silvermist Vineyards
There is little argument that Cape Town is recognised as one of the most important cities in the world for fine cuisine and wine. The renowned and award-winning La Colombe in the Constantia Valley has been an instrumental part of this international interest and recognition over the years. From its original home at Constantia Uitsig Wine Estate with its beloved French chef, Franck Dangereux, La Colombe has grown slowly and meticulously through the delicate hands of award-winning Chef Luke Dale-Roberts and now, the extraordinarily talented Scot Kirton, and his team. Scot is not the type of chef that boasts about himself. Rather, he goes about his craft with a sense of calm skill, dedication and passion.
The menu is reflective of Scot’s flair for innovation, flavour and exquisite plating skills. La Colombe’s French signature remains, but with a modern, fresh approach. Scot creates food for the most discerning ‘foodies’ in search of a quality all-around dining experience, filled with imagination and faultless technique. His style is a seamless integration of classic and modern French cuisine, with a distinctive Asian influence.
La Colombe is open daily for lunch from 12H30 and dinner from 19H00.
