Molly & Mason opened at Steenberg Village in 2013 and has become the go-to shop for things homemade and handmade. We have quickly won the hearts of our customers with our delicious, fresh home bakes and handmade crafts.

I realised that there was a gap in the market for homemade cakes and baked goods that were not mass produced and loaded with additives and preservatives. I have always had a desire to open a home industry shop as I love baking and have worked in the corporate retail environment for many years, I have also trained many companies' staff in retail skills so now it was time to open my own store and make it a success.

The chance came in 2013 when another local cake shop closed down. Both Penny and Ann had worked there for over 15 years and I could not see the wonderful ladies who worked in the store as well as all the bakers who supplied the store lose their jobs and their only source of income, so I decided to open my dream business.

Other than my two children, opening Molly & Mason has been the thing I am most proud of. We love serving our customers, and are very blessed to have such a positive impact on the lives of so many people.
